For this group project, we were tasked with creating a pop up retail marketing space for a brand of our choice. It had to be innovative, while also maintaining the brand ethos. My group decided to create a space specifically designed for Liberty London to exhibit in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
The scheme we decided upon was a large multifaceted room (The Gamble Room) within the V&A, that would house 10 interactive screened panels, including a large floor panel. These screens, when touched, would emit liberty fabric motif’s from the ‘classics collection’ that rippled across the screens. On the screens closest to the exits, there would be a smaller interactive area that would allow the user to pick the motif’s of their choosing, and get them printed onto a small souvenir, whether that be a coffee cup, keychain or scarf etc.
